Dr Mohammad Mohaghegh is a Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon who has dedicated a lifetime to acquiring qualifications, training and experience to help patients and transform their lives by performing Reconstructive micro-surgery and strengthening self-esteem through delicate Plastic Cosmetic Surgery.

‘Dr Mo’ was attracted to becoming a Plastic Surgeon due to his high level of surgical skill, attention to detail and the artistry that is paramount in Plastic Surgery. It is the combination of refined technical expertise with the aesthetic flair of repairing and, at
times, enhancing form and shape to transform patient’s lives and confidence that continuously inspires him.

Dr Mo is known for his dedication to his patients and takes considerable time to discuss the available options with his patients before commencing the treatments to restore freshness, function and aesthetic balance. His distinct approach combines
personal attention and clinical expertise with warmth, compassion and care. Although Dr Mo has a strong interest in Rhinoplasty and breast surgery including aesthetic and reconstruction but his expertise covers a large variety of procedures in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, including:

After obtaining his medical degrees, Dr Mo embarked on a further 20 years of rigorous General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training including a surgical research degree at the university of Sydney, before being awarded his FRACS (Plastics) under the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Mo finished his undergraduate training in 1996 at TUMS University and completed his specialist training in General Surgery in 2001 and subspecialty in Plastic Surgery in 2013. He received the Sydney Burn Foundation’s Scholarship for his Master of Philosophy degree at the University of Sydney and graduated from there with a Master of Philosophy in ‘Living Skin Project’ in 2015.

In 2018, Dr Mo was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery. He then undertook further post-training Fellowship in Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, Lymphoedema and Facial Animation Surgery at Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney.
