Rehabilitation
We offer both inpatient and day program rehabilitation, helping you to return to daily life sooner.
Gosford Private Hospital has a specialised on-site Rehabilitation Therapy Unit, run by a team of medical specialists and Allied Health professionals. Our staff are committed to helping you to return to normal living and activities after major surgery or illness.
We have a large, well-equipped gymnasium, hydrotherapy pool and an independent living assessment area where you can practice the skills you need to manage at home.

Lymphoedema Program
We are pleased to offer a specialised lymphoedema rehabilitation program. Lymphoedema is the swelling of a limb due to a build up excess fluid in the tissues, and can be caused by problems with, or damage to, the lymphatic system. Untreated, this swelling may become difficult to control.
If you have lymphoedema we can help you. Some signs of lymphoedema are:
- An appearance of swelling in the limb
- A heavy, tight limb
- Pins and needles
- Numbness, temperature changes or aches
- Indentations in the skin from tight clothing and jewellery
