Leadership Team

Stephen is an established healthcare industry leader with a well-earned reputation for his extensive experience in delivering and leading business growth in the healthcare sector internationally across the private sectors, including private equity and not-for-profits. He has held senior management positions in various Australian Healthcare organisations over the past 20 years.

Following a successful clinical career; Stephen entered management in Ramsay healthcare at Westmead Private in Sydney moving then to the Director of Perioperative & Critical Care position at The Sydney Adventist Hospital. Before joining Healthe Care his most recent role he worked as the COO of Evolution Healthcare managing, and successfully circumnavigating the transition into New Zealand private healthcare market growing the activity across nine health care facilities with over 1200 staff.

Stephen has a very warm, pragmatic and open leadership style. He has had broad experience in driving outcomes and growth within complex stakeholder environments during his twenty-seven years in healthcare. He has a significant breadth of health and commercial experience, which is a perfect fit for Healthe Care.

Sally came to Gosford Private Hospital in 2021 after working for 15 years at private hospitals in Sydney. In her role as Executive Assistant, Sally is responsible for looking after the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Clinical Services and others in management roles at the hospital.

Deana has been part of the team at Gosford Private Hospital since 1994. She has over 18 years experience in Operating Theatres, with 8 years as the Theatre Manager, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the theatre complex and Endoscopy Centre at Gosford Private.

Wayne commenced with Healthe Care at the beginning of 2018 and is currently the Regional Finance Manager for Brisbane Waters Private, Gosford Private and Tuggerah Lakes Private Hospitals. He has a broad range of business and financial experience aligned to Small and Medium Size Enterprises, Not-For-Profit and ASX Listed organisations in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland & USA. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Business Degree.
