Dr David Parkin is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Tuggerah Lakes Private, Brisbane Waters Private and Gosford Private Hospitals, and has worked on the Central Coast since 1997.

Having graduated from the NSW Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science in 1984, Dr Parkin then undertook his Medical and Surgical training at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 1989.

Dr Parkin trained at Royal North Shore Hospital and Westmead Hospitals in Sydney, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 1995. He was a Junior Consultant at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton, UK from 1996-1997.

Dr Parkin specialises in high quality endoscopy and is interested in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of disorders affecting the gastrointestinal tract, including inflammatory bowel disease, disorders of the liver, biliary tree, and pancreas.
