What is Lymphoedema?

Lymphoedema is the swelling of a limb due to a build up excess fluid in the tissues, and can be caused by problems with, or damage to, the lymphatic system. Untreated, this swelling may become difficult to control.

If you have lymphoedema we can help you. Some signs of lymphoedema are:

• An appearance of swelling in the limb
• A heavy, tight limb
• Pins and needles
• Numbness, temperature changes or aches
• Indentations in the skin from tight clothing and jewellery

Located on-site in the North Gosford Medical Centre (entry off Etna Street), the Gosford Private Lymphoedema Clinic is now open.

• Expanded Services – We’re introducing post-operation prevention, early intervention, and chronic management programs for more comprehensive lymphoedema care.
• Advanced Technology & Enhanced Comfort – Our upgraded facility includes the Lymphoedema Body Scanner, SOZO L-Dex machine, and Low-Level Laser, all in a private, comfortable setting.
• Improved Parking & Accessibility – Enjoy easier access with more parking options and a shorter walk to the clinic.

Open Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Access via Etna Street – paid parking on-site and nearby street parking available. A five-minute set-down zone is also provided for convenience.
