Dr Islam Nassar is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in conditions of the hip, knee, and shoulder. His practice includes joint replacement, complex revision surgery, and the management of sports-related and patellofemoral knee instability.

Dr Nassar has undertaken multiple sub-specialty fellowships in hip and knee arthroplasty and has extensive experience in both anterior approach total hip replacement and robotic-assisted and patient-specific knee arthroplasty. He also performs hip resurfacing, partial knee replacement, sports ligament reconstruction, and the management of complex orthopaedic trauma.

At ACRRA (Arthritis Care and Rapid Recovery Arthroplasty), he leads a multidisciplinary team integrating physiotherapy and allied health support to provide coordinated, evidence-based care focused on improving patient mobility and recovery outcomes.

Dr Nassar is accredited at Gosford Private Hospital, Brisbane Waters Private Hospital, Gosford Public Hospital, Wyong Public Hospital, and Macquarie University Clinics. He is available for consultations in English or Arabic.
